We are seeking a Launch Manager to lead in current or new programs for our North Baltimore, Ohio Plant.

Summary:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of launching new business or implementing engineering changes to current business.  This position will work with the assigned corporate program manager and plant staff to prepare for program launches for the CSP North Baltimore Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, feasibility and implementation of new or current product component or assembly for a new model launch per the APQP gates.
  • Cross functionally facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Define project activities, tasks and resource requirements.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Document open issues and track project deliverables.
  • Facilitate meetings and report progress or escalate issues to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the customer APQP packaging requirements are met.
  • Validate with corporate engineering equipment capacity and floor layout.
  • Completion of process flow/FMEA, control plan, IMDS, work instruction, BOM, capability study, and process documentation with the designated team members.
  • Confirm tooling safety, quality and function meet the customer and plant sign-off requirements per met.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering is required.
  • Experience managing projects and people.
  • Direct work experience in project management and software.
  • Experience with automotive new model launch procedures and must have hands on experience with manufacturing processes.
