This position will be a key member of the Teijin Carbon Fibers, Inc. leadership team and will report directly to the President. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the product and service meet internal and external requirements, market needs, and is consistent. This includes both legal (federal and regional) compliance, compliance to company codes and customer expectations. 

Responsibilities:

·       Plan the quality budget based on the sales/product development/production plans        and coordinate external audit

·       Manage qualifying the customers both in commercial sales and material                            specification

·       Inform production about marketing requirement and customer’s feedback in order        to continuously improve products and processes

·       Analyze TCF products based on customer’s needs to improve the products

·       Design and implement new quality processes and management system for new                products

·       Summarize customer’s complaints and define counter measurements

·       Manage the product specifications and process control

·       Certify necessary specifications and comply with laws and regulations

·       Update TCF to the latest specification requirements

·       Manage the quality management system to assure all requirements are                            incorporated in the process

·       Certify specifications for raw and auxiliary materials

·       Approve and control supplier of raw and auxiliary materials re quality

·       Manage communication channels with customers to improve the performance of            our product quality at customer’s production

·       Ensure that Product Liability and Product Safety requirements are met

·       Register the data related to the import of raw materials (precursor)

·       Manage all process related systems like Quality (AS9100/ISO9001), Environmental          (ISO14001), Safety & Health (OSHA 45000)

·       Communicate customer’s input to all relevant entities to improve the organization

·       Translate customer’s needs into our solution and advise the management team in          regards of quality of our products

·       Key member of the TCF leadership team

·       Other duties as required




Qualifications & Skills:

·      5+ years of quality assurance/control experience (prefer automotive/aerospace)

·      Bachelor’s degree in related field

·      Certified ISO Manager

·      Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·      Experience working with an international, culturally diverse team is preferred

·      Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, superior           organizational abilities, excellent precision and leadership ability

·     Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines

·     Fluent in English
